Mrs Thomas called me from the living room to the kitchen to tell me that dinner was ready.

I was looking at stuff recently like packets of flavored rice, and canned soups. One serving of many of these products is over half your recommended sodium intake for the day. The typical can of soup is reckoned to be two servings, so when you eat the whole can (they're not that big) for lunch for example, that really means you shouldn't have any more salt for the rest of the day.
